The red carpet was rolled out for hundreds of congressional staff and guests at the annual Congressional Fire and Rescue Institute. There were some notable visitors to the house, aside from the usual suspects. One of them was, er, the genus and his wife. It was a treat, if you can call the aforementioned men a treat, for this scribe. It was very convivial and I was impressed with the swag displayed, as well as the flies, which were a real goldmine of good times. If you are looking for a night out, there is always a place to stop by. Oh, and if you happen to be a firefighter, well...you bet!
Aside from that, this was the ideal occasion to pick up my tarot and I'd be honored if someone dropped by at night.
